I – LEARN / Adult Socialization
I-LEARN (Lead, Educate, Advocate, Respect, Navigate) provides adults a relaxing, fun and exciting setting to socialize with peers, make new friends and gain greater community independence.
I-LEARN publishes a monthly calendar of frequent, free and low-cost community-based activities.
These activities are offered on weekday-nights and weekends.
Monthly events include:
Organizational meeting to select and plan events
Arts and Crafts Club
Healthy Lifestyles Club
Government affairs and current events
Speaker’s series
Special events and community-based activities, including: plays, concerts and other cultural performances, seasonal community events, shopping trips, movie night, eating out at local restaurants and at a Potluck dinners.

I – Voice Self Advocacy
I-Voice is a self-advocacy group of people with developmental disabilities. Individuals come together to provide educational material, plan events and attend conferences that promote independence and self-advocacy
for people with disabilities.
I-Voice meets every Monday from 4:30-6:30, (unless it is a holiday – then it is the 2nd Monday) at the LDA of WNY’s Main Office
at 2555 Elmwood Avenue, Kenmore NY.
